First Ladies Deserve Some Presidential Privileges After Vacating Office – Aisha Buhari Kicks
Aisha who spoke at the launching of a book in Abuja authored by the President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs Vickie Anwuli Irabor, suggested for the provision of vehicles, sponsored medical treatments and provision of some stipends, among others. Mrs Aisha Buhari, the spouse of the outgoing Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has advocated for the provision of some privileges due to former presidents to their wives. Aisha who spoke at the launching of a book in Abuja authored by the President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs Vickie Anwuli Irabor, suggested for the provision of vehicles, sponsored medical treatments and provision of some stipends, among others. Titled, “The Journey of a Military Wife," Mrs Buhari said first ladies deserved these privileges just like their husbands or Presidents in office and out of office because when the pressure came, nobody wanted to know whether “you are out of the vil
